The Axolotl is a paedomorphic salamander. It is unusual among amphibians in that it reaches adulthood without undergoing metamorphosis. Instead of taking to the land, adults remain aquatic and gilled.

Only found in Mexico, these amphibians are critically endangered. They have the ability to regenerate limbs, organs, and even part of their brain.

Measures: 7 1/2" X 5 1/2"  with an adjustable waistband.
